The Charles River Regional Chamber (formerly Newton-Needham Chamber) has invited MassDOT and contractor P. Gioioso & Sons to provide business owners and other stakeholders with an update on construction completed so far for the Needham-Newton Corridor Project.

We’ll take a lookahead at upcoming work and provide a summary of what impacts abutters can expect as the construction moves into the fall.

This multi-year project entails improvements for traffic safety and operations and multimodal accommodations from Winchester Street at Route 9, along Needham Street in Newton to Highland Avenue at Webster Street in Needham. The project also includes widening the bridge over the Charles River.
