Join Green Needham on November 26th as we take a look at how energy efficiency is designed and built into Needham’s public construction projects. Reducing energy use and using energy as efficiently as possible is built into the process from initial conception and design through construction and operation. That attention not only contributes to the “on time and on budget” performance we have come to expect, it also reduces our use of fossil fuels, contributing to a cleaner environment and keeping more dollars in the local economy and reduces operational costs, saving money for years to come.

Using recently completed projects as case studies, architects from the design firms, project managers from Needham’s Public Facilities Construction Division and members of the Permanent Public Building Committee will take us on a tour of how Needham builds energy efficient public buildings.
