In preparation for holiday gift giving, the Shomrei Adamah Committee (Guardians of the Earth) of Temple Beth Shalom invites you to an event that will change the way you think about your child’s health.

• Why do toys and other consumer products contain hazardous chemicals?

Dr. Sally Edwards, a researcher at the Lowell Center for Sustainable Production, discusses her research on the  environmental and social  impacts of the global toy industry and her efforts to find solutions, working with toy manufacturers, retailers, government policy makers and children’s environmental health advocates.
