Given the increasing concern about the health effects of lawn chemicals, some companies will say “we do it all – organic/inorganic and we will do organic if you like.” Be cautious. Some will revert to their inorganic ways quite quickly, then you’re back in the kill-and-chemical cycle again. An organic program should involve building the soil with organic fertilizers and overseeding for weed control.
