You got the postcard! You got the letter! Needham Power Choice, the Town’s group electricity buying program, is starting up and will be delivering electricity to Needham homes and small businesses, starting with the March bills.

Go Green to the max! The Needham 100% Green Option, at 15.33 cents/kWh, is surprisingly affordable, only a few cents more per kilowatt hour than Needham Standard. That’s an extra $17/month for a home using 700 kWh/month. Not only is it green power, it’s 100% green power that is produced in New England.
A final note: there may be unscrupulous energy suppliers trying to piggyback on Needham’s program, using similar names but not vetted by the Town. Needham Power Choice is the only supply program that features the Town seal.
