1. Part-time Social Media Intern for Green Needham
Green Needham is seeking a person with an interest in the environment, as well as skills at using multiple Social Media platforms. A part-time Social Media Intern would help grow our online presence and broaden outreach to the community. Duties include building the audience for Green Needham’s Social Media accounts and creating content that supports our mission, projects, and activities.
The internship is available from June through August 2023, with a possibility to extend. Green Needham is offering a monthly stipend of $600 for an estimated 10 hours of work per week.

2. Full-time Student Intern
The Town of Needham has posted a job opening for a Student Intern to work with the Climate Action Plan Committee (CAPC), which was established to guide the Town in developing a plan that meets or exceeds the State’s climate mitigation and resilience goals. The CAPC is looking for a Student Intern who is self-motivated, passionate about sustainability and resiliency, and interested in learning more about how municipal government functions. The CAPC Student Intern will work with the Committee on the creation and implementation of Needham’s Climate Action Plan.
The position is temporary, with 37.5 hours/week during the Summer, and an optional opportunity to continue on a part-time basis during school year. The hourly pay rate is $20.00 – $24.16.
