The Needham 100 Day Challenge campaign, a new marketing initiative designed to support and promote the town’s businesses and restaurants during the final 100 days in 2020, kicked off on September 15th. The campaign is a collaboration between the Newton-Needham Regional Chamber’s Needham Business Alliance committee, the Town, local businesses, civic leaders and community members. It was developed pro-bono by Traktek Partners, a Needham-based digital marketing agency.
The campaign emphasizes that shopping and dining locally aren’t just important for our local economy but they’re safe and enjoyable experiences as well.
Why 100 days? It’s about 100 days until the end of 2020, and as Newton-Needham Chamber President Greg Reibman put it, “Restaurants and retailers are entering a critical 100-day period that will determine who survives the worst economy since the Great Depression and who doesn’t”.
Join this campaign to support the dozens of small businesses throughout Needham. By supporting them, you’re also supporting a more sustainable local community and “Living Green” in Needham. When you shop and dine locally, spread the word on your favorite social media using the #Needham100Challenge hashtag. If you’re active on Facebook, join the Needham100daychallenge Facebook group. Be on the lookout for social media posts, street pole banners, signage, local news coverage, promotions, prizes and a traveling mural.
