This coming Tuesday, March 15th, Green Needham is sponsoring an informational session on the solar project at the Needham RTS, as well as projects at homes and institutions around Town. at 7:30 pm at the Broadmeadow School’s auditorium.
Come hear how the project at the RTS (“the dump”) will soon start providing thirty percent of the electric power needed by Town facilities. The project will save money for the town and includes an education component. Learn about the how the system works, how it affects the town and how we hope to use it as a tool for Needham’s students.
We will also hear lessons learned and success stories about solar projects on the rooftops of Needham homes and a Needham church. These projects also have been generating power for many Needhamites and there’s potential for even more.
Have questions about the RTS project? Meet the people who helped make it a reality.
Curious about solar for your home or business? Come talk to our “Solar Ambassadors” about their experiences (joys and frustrations) of “going solar”.
