Green Needham’s Residential Heat Pump presentation, postponed due to the February 13th snowstorm, has been rescheduled for Monday, April 7th at the Needham Historical Society.
Heat pump systems, also known as ductless mini splits, can provide a more cost effective and energy efficient way to heat and cool a home than traditional heating systems. They can be especially attractive to homeowners with oil or electric heating systems.
Pioneered in Japan, where energy costs are high and minimizing direct use of fossil fuels is essential, these systems make very efficient use of electricity to provide heating and cooling. The Mass Save program supports this technology with rebates through its Cool Smart program for qualified installations in 2014.
Please join us on Monday evening, April 7th, as Green Needham hosts a presentation on these systems by HVAC professionals from Mitsubishi and Next Step Living. Please register/RSVP here for this no-cost event
