In a recent meeting with the Newton-Needham Chamber of Commerce, Newton Mayor Seti Warren addressed a number of business development questions, including the Green Line Extension down Needham Street. As reported in the March, 2010 issue of the Chamber’s monthly newsletter, INBusiness, Mayor Warren began his answer to a general question about addressing the “Needham Street Issue” by saying:
I really believe that we should expand the Green Line to Needham Street. That’s an initiative that would enhance that area. I’d like to work with the Town of Needham on that.
